The violas are very pretty Julie, but for me the texture of the pots and the wall is a winner. I can almost feel them. Can I ask what mixed media paper is please?

It is made by Daler Rowney and comes in different sized spiral bound pads. The paper is quite sturdy and suitable for acrylic, pastel and watercolour. Hope that helps.

Really like this. I think the orange of the pots against the blue at the bottom of the painting is lovely.

Julie you have really really caught that earthy, oldy pot effect, mouldy old wall and beautiful deep, deep violets.
