Julie, this is really good! Brushes is a rewarding app to use isn't it. I spent a very rainy day here on the south coast yesterday painting a 'Summer Meadow' on my iPad but unfortunately due to local flooding my phone and internet connection is down until 14th June so I can't post it. We're going away tomorrow for a week so I'm in the local library doing all my 'necessary' bits and pieces! Technology seems to be taking over my life! I have tried Sketchbook Pro but found that a bit too complicated. Decided to stick to Brushes as it suits my style of art.

A lovely piece, with great palette and composition.

I am not a great advocate of ipad work but this works so really well I felt I had to congratulate you Julie - I can see why you enjoyed doing it.

Thank you for all the kind comments. The iPad has been good for me because I pick it up and dabble in a way I have never felt at ease doing with a sketchbook. I don't keep a sketchbook to hand though I know I really ought to do, and although it doesn't seem logical there is something very re-assuring about the little dustbin symbol and the 'undo' symbol that make it easy to draw on the iPad!

Very colourful. I like the dark leaf shapes you have added.
