No resist or masking - just a fairly laborious method of watercolour painting I developed to achieve the results I wanted. To put it very simply, tube watercolour is touched into the edge of a very controlled 'puddle ' of water. In this way, I feel that I have much more control than I would do with a more conventional approach.
