You have been taught well then! Inspiring work altogether.

I like the free running lines at the drop of the cliff. But I feel there is too much dark colour in it ( but may be it is just me).

i really like these cornish paintings especially the colour and movement in this one.

When I was 12 and not permitted to use an eraser in art class I was told off for 'messy' drawings. I realise now that I was using my pencil to explore 'movement'. Not being given the means to refine my drawing then resulted in the inevitable mess!

This is really beautiful, and you do have a distinctive style which I hope you continue to develop with such marvellous results! Thank-you for your comments on my work, very much appreciated.

Im revisiting your galley again after your kind comments on my harbour painting. Start to finish, it's a joy. Can I point you at the work of Northumberland artist, Rob Newton? You may already know his painting. Like you, he paints at a level I can only aspire to. Im off to see if you have a website somewhere.

Thank you very much for YOUR kind comments! I'll look up Rob Newton, and although I've started on a trial website it's a job I've promised myself to try to achieve this Christmas holiday. Have you looked at the 'interviews with artists' section? I've put a bit about myself there!

Fabulous, great sense of fluidity Thanks John

Hi Jo. Thanks for commenting on my painting! I didn't recognize your name so I looked up your gallery and then realized that this one was one of yours and that I'd already said how much I'd liked it! It's a big compliment to me that an artist such as yourself should admire my work! This painting especially is a beauty!
