Echt Aberdeenshire

A superb painting, all your markings are so good , the subdued colours add to the atmosphere of the painting.

I love the looseness of your foreground John and that feeling of space you have created so well.

The distance you have achieved is so effective and I love that muted purple shade. So good.

I love what you have done with the foreground. It really works!

Love the way you apply paint and muted colours you use

Love the pastel shades you’ve used in your landscape John, great textures in the foreground.

Dixie, Chris, Carrie, Fiona P, Rachel and Fiona R, I adore painting and get so much pleasure from it but it’s extra nice seeing the wonderful comments you write - I appreciate them very much 🙏😊🙏

Beautiful to soft colours.

What a startlingly beautiful painting with the loose, abstract foreground leading into the fields and trees. The work is gutsy and compelling.

Lynne, that’s such a compliment- I’m much obliged 🙏🏼
