Nice piece John. Not a chocolate box at all.

Many thanks Andrew and Dixie 😎😎

Much obliged Suzette 😎🙏🏼

Great colour and tone and so well drawn

Many thanks Martin 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Really like this John-

Bless you Rachel 😎🙏🏼

Superb drawing in this watercolor. The dynamic freedom of brush strokes in the sky offset the more measured painting in the foreground. Nice purple blue on roofs repeated in background. Love the spattering, the harmony of the whole. Wonderful painting.

Tanja!!! Thank you 🙏🏼 😂

Good composition and mix of complexity and simplicity. The rendering of the sky with ink(?) adds dynamism and creates a tension between the peaceful village and nature!

Thanks for the comments Stephen! I’m delighted you like it, it’s all watercolour apart from some timeline work 😎

Thank you Spencer 🙏🏼

I don't agree that it's chocolate boxy - it's a warm and inviting painting, and something of a social document, in that it shows a local feature as it is today.

Excellent watercolour and certainly not chocolate boxy! Love the sky.👍
