Put Your Boots on and Walk

Great brush marks and textures in this John. The yellows in the foreground really stand out against the rising cliffs

A smasher John

Thanks so much Heather and Christine

Beautifully painted

Gorgeous, it reminds me so much of the Scottish highlands too.

Thank you so much David and Carrie, I'll be living in Scotland soon so I hope to find out how similar they are 😊

Like your markings and colours, John

Really love your style John.

Terrific piece John, I love the lilac, grey and yellow palette......but most of all I love how you apply the paint!

Another great piece of work John. Has a rugged and raw feel to it.

Love your brushstrokes and the perspective here. I especially love your very natural palette John.

Sounds and looks like a wonderful area John, and I like your loose use of paint especially in the foreground. You have captured the ruggedness of the scene.

A very big thank you to Maureen, Elaine, Fiona, Chris, Carole and Tessa for all your kind, supportive and generous words :)

Recognised the terrain, and style of buildings. I also think this sums it up.

Gudrun, im delighted you like it 😀

Excellent, love the way you have painted the foreground

Thank yiu Romila 😀

This little painting sums up the new sights that were in store for us during our stay in Norway. I went from civilised pavement walks with my dog to physically lifting her up rock faces...and it was worth it to discovery such beautiful places.
