12"x9" DR Ingres paper, DR soft pastels, white conte crayon. Mick Saunder's pastel landscapes encouraged me to this. This bog walk has no real landmarks but the colour of the bog and big sky is the attraction for me. I really wanted to introduce a colour out of context with the palette but struggled to find a reason to do so. I settled for yellow to highlight the gorse flower.
