Nice one Jenny, always like these pieces of work, love to know the technique used.

Naughty Angel I think! Not horrible; just not a Christmas Card for everyone!

Well she's certainly the most exotic angel I've seen!

She's gorgeous, perhaps not a card for the vicar though! ;o))

Thank you Peter, I don't know how it is supposed to be done but what I do is - just stretch some w/c paper, apply a layer of black quink onto wet paper & allow to dry. Then I just draw with bleach, I use brushes. Sometimes I dilute the bleach and sometimes I wet areas of the ink with water and drop bleach into them. Elf & safety warings apply, don't get bleach in your eyes, don't wash bleachy brush in your coffee and never accidentally drink from bleachy water container - it doesn't taste nice, LOL

Thank you Gudrun, Debs and Carole, no - totally unsuitable for Christmas card. Making angel look angelic is proving much trickier than I'd expected. Perhaps next one should have a halo, that might help. Back to the drawing board...............

She's perhaps a fallen Angel Jenny? She's beautiful whatever she is, you're a genius with ink and bleach. Ever thought of doing a demo dvd or something, I think this is a technique that would interest many people, I'm one for certain, I love the end result of all your dabblings with the medium.

Super picture, Jennie. What a stunning figure with the light and shade showing the shape off to perfection.! I tried this technique some time ago , so must have another go!

look at this several times on my phone and couldnt make out the bottom right leg, much better on a larger screen of the computor and actually really like the legs, to me she looks like a marble staute ( the legs) which has become alive ready to fly off to lead the innocents astray !!!

Thank you Fiona, no - I don't do demos, I don't know what I'm doing but I am sure I am not doing it right, hahaha.

Thank you Roger, do have another go - I'll look forward to seeing it. I took the notion to try it when I remembered seeing that one of Rachel Widdows at gallery north - years ago. Wish I could take another look at hers, it was gorgeous

Your paintings are always edgy and interesting, Jenny, and this one is no exception. Not horrible at all!

Quink and Miltons, 9" x 7". It was supposed to be an angel but I can't use this for my christmas cards - doesn't look remotely angelic, quite horrible in fact. Hope it gives you a giggle at least............
