Wow! a real dramatic rendering of this castle and it beats all those "cheesy" wedding photographs when this is used as a backdrop . . .or am I being cynical? Nice one, Jenny!

This is just excellent, Jenny - so much atmosphere and light. And I think the distressed look adds tons of character to the building!

'Herstmonceux Castle', mostly black Quink and water + a mere touch of bleach. The castle has actually been beautifully restored - to within an inch of it's life, LOL. I have 'distressed' it a bit, I think a bit of 'age' is more romantic
