Good one Jenny!

This has worked out really well, an interesting technique.

Nice Idea! Beautiful Bridge Jenny!

Beautful Jenny. I love the different green textures.

And to you Jenny, keep up your excellent creative work in 2020!

Your painting style fascinates me Jenny. Completely unfussy ,just delightful.

Thanks very much, Heather, Lewis, Regloh, Susan, Alan and Sylvia, for your kind comments.

Many thanks, Dennis!

Yes I remember it Jenny. You have made a superb job of it this time round. You have done the greens really well.

Thanks very much, John! This time I only used one watercolour green, Daniel Smith’s Green Apatite Genuine, which is a really versatile colour and granulates into both black and emerald green. I find I’m using my Neocolour II pastels more now as well, they can be wetted and used like watercolour or used dry like normal pastels.

I do like your distinctive "crisp" style.

Thank you, Richard!

Your techniques have been very effective Jenny. Love the style, angles and lines within this.

Thanks, Carole! I don’t usually do landscapes, but enjoy painting a few local scenes now and then.

21 x 22 cm mixed media. This is a local scene which I seem to keep going back to, trying to paint it in a different way each time. This time I started with the foreground which was done with acrylic inks and cling film, the rest is watercolour with some Neocolour II pastel which has a good selection of greens. The greens, though, are always a challenge, I’m not a natural landscape painter!
