Oh Jenny, this is so beautiful. I love the colours, they really compliment the badgers and I always wondered if it would be possible to paint the msn in the moon realistically. You have.

The colours compliment each other so well, green may detract from what is a wonderful painting. The placing of the subjects and the road lead perfectly to the moon. Fantastic composition.

Thanks very much everyone, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comments - it's very difficult to judge your own work, especially this type of thing, so getting such positive feedback is great. (The man was added to the moon as an afterthought - I'd been looking at a full moon this week and thought it was just what was needed to soften the moon a bit!)

A bit of an experiment using colours I haven't put together before. Not very happy with the tree on the left, it makes the whole thing feel a bit bleak. Might try another version using greens and add some leaves.
