Like this Jenny , the badger is particularly good.

Very effective and I do like the colours used very much.

That does look like a fun way to play. I like the contrasts…your super stylish badger next to clump of leaves, for example…a great result.

This is excellent Jenny.

Super bit of playing Jenny

I really like how you play with this method of creating a wonderful piece of art Jenny. Terrific!

Thank you so much Paul, Tessa, Lewis, Stephen, Heather and Fiona for your kind comments. Collage is always fun to do, makes a change from regular painting - and you never quite know what you’ll end up with! (Tessa, the background is Purple Lake, one of my favourite FW ink colours.)

A good result Jenny, love the badgers expression.

Thanks, Lynn!

Those hostas are quite three dimensional- they pop out at you. Contrasting colours I suppose.

Frank, the image behind is flat, which emphasises it. Also helps that the leaves are photo collage!

Lovely effects Jenny.

Thanks, Denise!

This is lovely Jenny, I am just starting to have a go at collage, it’s fun 😊

Thank you, Lisa! Collage is also a great way of reviving old paintings which may have been discarded as not good enough - it’s amazing how collage can transform them.

Many thanks, Maureen!

Very effective, love the badger.

Thanks, Sandra!

5.5” x 7.5” collage on an acrylic ink background - the foliage and flower collage cut from a gardening magazine (not painted!), the badger from one of my linocut prints.
