Never tried this, and hadn't considered that you don't know how it's going to work until you take a print. A super result and design.

Thanks, Lewis. (You can obviously get a reasonable idea of how it's going to look when printed, but because I only use a line drawing to work from, and it's all in reverse, the result isn't always quite as expected!) There is some really super lino cut work done by others on POL - I'm still trying to get to grips with it.)

I like this design ,you are so creative and too hard on yourself, a wonderful lino cut print it is, Jenny.

This looks great, Jenny.

Fantastic! I was reading today about repetition in artwork. This is a good example of that and how well it works

Many thanks Annick, Margaret and Diana! Diana, the article you mention sounds interesting, is it something available on the Internet? I'd be interested in reading it.

Excellent print Jenny, delightful subject also.

Thanks, Alan! I think I prefer the design of my previous lino cut, but am just trying out some different ideas.

This lino print is looking great Jenny, and the shape of the frogs with surrounds looks so 'trendy' and I am sure this project will turn out well, definition and design is really outstanding and fascinating work indeed!

Thanks very much Angela for your encouraging comments!

Great work Jenny 😀

Thanks, Linda!

Thank you, Richard!

Another lino cut (15 x 20 cm) using my new tools and vinyl - maybe I'm working too small scale but I'm finding it really hard work, with lots of eye strain, and you don't actually know until the printing stage if you've produced anything worthwhile! Back to the paints now for a bit.
