Thanks, Linda! The badgers were a bit of an afterthought, but did fit in nicely, especially in black and white which, as you say, livens it up. Will have to try a few more like this!

I Like the composition and use of collage and please don't take this as criticism of this piece of art but, I would look to producing another version with the same composition but giving colour to the foreground, now showing in white i.e the grass and the stems/flowers. Why? To "push" the badgers into "middle ground" of the picture.

22 x 24 cm mixed media - acrylic ink background with lino cut badgers collaged in the foreground. When I started the background it was intended for a different subject, but it didn’t work out the way I’d wanted, so I carried on adding more ink and then decided to add the badger collage - it’s fun for a change to just let things evolve as you go along.
