"Rainforest" - leaf print collage

Meant to add that the leaves in the foreground are photo-collage and are not painted!

Thanks, Adele - no, the leaves in the bottom left corner were all photo- collage, including the hostas. I suppose I could have painted them, but like using a bit of photo-collage, it adds interest.

Takes me back - we used to do something like this with poster paint, at school: but we didn't get results as striking as this - no acrylic inks in those days. Probably you stopped at the right moment - if you were getting fed up with it: you're never going to improve things by overworking. The photographic bits work well with the painted work - it's how you stick it all together that matters.
