This is another very striking painting. The harmonious palette and well balanced design work so well. I would run a mile if a snake came near me but this one looks friendly!

Many thanks Margaret, Seok, Carole and Diana, comments much appreciated. (The snake is actually from a set of little animal designs that I did in my schooldays - I dip into them occasionally when looking for inspiration!)

Watercolour with a little pastel. One of several paintings put to one side a few years ago as I wasn't happy with the colours - have strengthened the colour in a few places and think it works better now.
