This isn’t meant to be a work of art, it’s my first Urban Sketch. I’ve been carrying around a sketchbook and pencils forever and never had the courage. Yesterday, I went for it. Despite the heads over my shoulder, I was so concentrated on trying to get an image down before the subjects moved or were blocked by others, I managed to ignore the onlookers. I normally set aside a day for art, drawing under time pressure was a great experience. Water soluble tinted graphite.
