Dolbadarn Castle
This 13th century fortification in north Wales was often painted by Turner. My modest small (A5) line and wash sketch might be developed into a larger piece, perhaps guided by some of the principles in Tony Smibert’s “Turner’s Apprentice”, a wonderful book.
