Spanish Head, Isle of Man

Good one james, I like how you've painted the sea and skies in particular

Beautifully done, James - love the sun catching the headland!

A lovely fresh painting - some would say conté crayon isn't paint, but if it works like paint, I'm quite happy to call it paint: after all, that's what they say about pastel; and what else is conté crayon? Whatever! I like it - full of light, air, atmosphere, and what I'd call a 'clean' painting: a worthy addition to your gallery.

Thank you Anne and Robert. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

You’ve used the conte crayon to great effect in your painting James. There are lots of lovely areas where you have strokes of colour side by side that work beautifully. A smashing piece of work.
