Oil on MRF Panel 12" x 8": Storm brewing across St Ives Bay looking towards Godrevy Island, a constant source of inspiration from our holiday destination in St Ives. Like the painting of Cape Cornwall this was painted from photos and sketches in order to get the palette right for our upcoming pilgrimage to the SW. Painting walls and sheep is all well and good, but I'd like to master painting waves and seascapes, I think I'm getting there, although as my geography report stated when I was 13 "could do better"...
