This is vey good IMHO. Like the composition a lot - good diagonals. Sky is strong but sits back well. Personally I would have pushed the fields back a bit more by taking some of the heat out of them but that's just a personal preferance - nothing wrong with your perspective. I particularly like the use of the reds in the foreground to emphasise the door colour.

Barn with Green Door. WS Oil on board 16.5" x 12". The view from the roadside of Bank End Barn looking towards Claughton Moor, Lancs. Ok so it's not strictly in the Dales, it is in the same area. The painting is from a sketch and photos. The cloud moving in from the north came later that day (last sunday) while the family was berry-picking - I thought it would be appropriate to include it in the picture. Yes the paint is still wet!
