Oil on Board 10" x 6"; This one is painted from a photo from a trip to Cornwall a couple of years ago, I intended to paint this as a trial as we will be holidaying in this wonderful place again this year and as I will be equipped with my pochade box and oil paints I wanted to work out the palette before I travelled. This was painted really in two sittings, total time about two hours using (for me) a limited palette of burnt sienna, ultramarine, cobalt and pthalo blues, orange, windsor yellow, and vandyke brown as well as the obligatory white and black. Again this was an exercise in trying to be more looser in style and not making a preparatory sketch with a pencil on the board before diving straight in with the turpsy [sic] washes - once again cheers Alwyn!
