Atmospheric - still a bit autumnal up north?

Still very much gripped by winter here in t'dales. It was incredibly cold while I was painting yesterday.

I think it was three hours extremely well spent, I really like this Ian.

It was, cheers William, although next time my mobile is going on SILENT! I had intentionally left the mobile at home, but the wife came down the lane with it! There is really no escape in this world is there?

Water Mixable Oil on Canvas 12" x 9" (ish). Painted in about 3 hours, plein-air yesterday. This ramshackle wooden barn is just down the lane from home, and although the light was not conducive to painting (I wanted to paint Pen-y-ghent - but it was mist-bound until 3pm) I resorted to a back-up plan. I used the fast-drying medium which worked really well (very viscous in the cold weather), mixed with a little water.
