Dramatic, I like this and the tones you've used work really well

Like this - proof that dark doesn't have to mean dull - this painting contains so many interesting touches that it's worth a long look.

12in x 8in ish oil on panel. I have painted this derelict gritstone farmhouse a couple of times over the last few years. There is something about the harshness, tones and moods of the grtistone which requires a completely different palette to the landscape painter than say the limestone which prevails further up the valley. I limited the colours in the palette in order to emphasise the tones and to keep the painting together.
