Looks as if there is intensity in this relationship Spencer.

I just love this one, Spencer!

Love it Spencer, well done.

Lovely Spencer. Looks like pop art.

This is smashing, Spencer. You have lovely backstories to go with your work. I like all the dresses but the blue flowery one is my favorite. It is difficult to pick up glittery water colour. Not to worry it still looks great. Have you read about their visit to America to meet Elvis?

Thank you for your great comments John, David, Stephen, Karl and Carole. The painting wasn’t as good as I had hoped it would be from the vision in my head so to have lovely comments is quite uplifting. Carole - I haven’t read about their visit to America to meet Elvis. I will have to look it up!

Lovely painting Spencer, and expresses the theme really well, the one who is leaning and bright colours forms, striking for the occasion when the Beatles were together for the last time!

Great composition Spencer and theme.

So very good! Love the unshaven legs!

Good fun Spencer, I can see the Beryl Cook influence.

Made me laugh! Very well done Spencer.

Brilliant! And very Beryl Cookish!

Thank you so much for your great comments Ross, Heather, Andrew, Tessa and Thalia. So pleased you liked my design. Your comments are much appreciated.

Oh yes, love this. Well done.

Thank you so much Jenny and Lesley. So pleased that you liked it.

So funny and so well done, Spencer - yes rather like Beryl Cook.

Love the joie de vivre!

Continuing my Beatles theme I took this title quite literally and was inspired by the work of Beryl Cook. It was written by John Lennon in 1969. The gathered together to mix the song marking the final time that all four Beatles were together in the studio. Lennon wrote the song about Yoko Ono and the intensity of their relationship. Unfortunately the photo doesn’t show where metallic and glitter watercolours were used to create a nightclub feel to the painting.
