Thanks so much Lewis. I do like doing pop-art style! I’m not so sure about the likeness but the bracelets and eye shadow were definitely her thing at the time!

Continuing my Beatles theme is Lady Madonna. The song was recorded in March 1968. It was recorded before the Beatles left for India and its boogie-Woogie style signalled a more conventional approach following their psychedelic experimentation period. This version was inspired by a print I’d seen of Madonna and is done in pastel and watercolour.
