Continuing my Beatles theme is Lady Madonna. The song was recorded in March 1968. It was recorded before the Beatles left for India and its boogie-Woogie style signalled a more conventional approach following their psychedelic experimentation period. This version was inspired by a print I’d seen of Madonna and is done in pastel and watercolour.
