I'm told, never having milked a cow, that some of them can express their displeasure with those who are too rough or inexpert, through means you'll be able to guess - it is not by accident that milk-maid paintings always show the maid sitting to the side of the cow, never right behind her.

So Funny! As a Kid, I had to milk a cow; Cold hands were "verboien".
