The eyes have it!

Well done Spencer, very thoughtful picture.

I seem to recall him 'punishing' Cynthia too Spencer, he had a nasty streak to say the least.

Your paintings are always thought provoking Spencer.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Heather, Stephen, Russell and Sylvia. I do appreciate it!

Those eyes Spencer, are so expressive.

I don't recall this song, I'll find it.

Another good one in your Beatles theme!! Very well done, Spencer!!

I don’t know the song Spencer but your painting and representation of the emotion is very strong.

Very Provocative ! A "Beatles" song of which I was not aware.

Thank you so much for your great comments Fiona, Lewis, David, Fiona and Skylar.

A very early one and a very good interpretation Spencer. There were a few all written along the same lines such as Run For Your Life Little Girl which can be taken the same way. But hey Delilah by Tom Jones is now banned for its lyrics at rugby matches. Any way I'm enjoying your series so much keep them coming Spencer.

Thank you so much Chris. I’ve got ‘Run for your life’ on my to do list.

Very direct. Cuts to the chase!

You,ve expressed the story so well through his eyes, spencer -excellent!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments Martin and Willie.

Very expressive eyes!

Continuing my Beatles theme ‘I’ll cry instead’, was written in 1964 by John Lennon, according to his wife wife Cynthia as a cry for help. Lennon stated that the lyrics represented his frustration with success and the sense that he’d lost his freedom. The song has been described as one of Lennons ‘stalker’ songs. He is also crying for the loves he has lost and plans to seek vengeance and break the hearts of girls around the world, thereby punishing anyone who has rejected him.
