Continuing my cat theme is Vacation in Catania. Here 2 cats, one a mischievous kitten have arrived at the beach in Sicily. Catania is a town in Sicily. I used a variety of media one of which was a watercolour brush pen. I hadn’t appreciated that the pen would bleed quite easily against another colour so had to use a variety of oil pastels, watercolour pencils and gouache to try to correct the problem and ensure the little kitten climbing the fence looked more distant than the cat peering around the corner.
