This image is from a series I did after a heavy snowfall. I worked in ink and coloured pencil on Lana Bristol board, which is very white and quite shiny. I wouldn't use it for images that need a lot of layers, but it suited the light touches of colour needed here, took the ink very smoothly and gave sparklingly white snow. I used Derwent Artists' colours for their subtle wintry shades which suit the UK winter to perfection!
