This is a gorgeous piece Hazel. Greens are just a matter of observation, mostly about cools and warms, which you have in this piece.👍

Thank you for your lovely comments, I think greens must have given me almost a (20 year!) mental block of sorts. Definitely something I must keep on trying, observing, experimenting, and now enjoying too! :D

Greens are something I always tend to shy away from so here I have purposefully sought a scene which contains almost nothing else! Using a mix of cad yellow and cerulean, plus the usual ultramarine/burnt sienna mix, white adds a silvery tone to the bark of these twisted birch trees
