Yes but messing around with a superb result, it’s a beauty.

Messing around beautifully William

I like the moody atmosphere and the free watercolour look, William

Looks great to me.

Nice watercolour technique William! It doesn’t matter that the boat is merging into the building, that’s quite acceptable and something that I purposely do in my paintings. Cracking Sky once again!

Really good William.

No criticism from me! This is lovely - your boat and the building are at the centre of an approaching storm, and the lowering sky over them contrasts beautifully with the rays of sunlight in the background.

Works really well 👌

There's so much wonderfulness in this! Be happy!

I like this very much indeed, wonderful moody atmosphere, and the boat does show up in front of the building.

Even though it is merging a bit I can still see the outline quite clearly.

Moody and very atmospheric painting. More to like than criticise.

Love this William! Very moody.

Well I’m a bit shocked I thought I had messed up a little with the boat and building but all your messages tell me otherwise, I’m truly grateful for all supportive comments and admit it’s growing on me. I think it’s a case of looking at your work again the next day and see it in maybe a different light. Thank you all!👍👍

I think there's a lot to be said for coming back to a painting a day or two later! If you see the boat, building and hills as part of one overall shape, then one only needs the the subtle differences you have here, to define them.

Not really happy with this it’s a bit muddy and I’ve lost the boat with the building, was not going to put it up but I’m open to criticism. Watercolour on Saunders rough.
