I like it William - don't be so hard on yourself

Well that was quick! Thank you Heather you are always first if not very near to comment and I’m so grateful. Wish I had the time to look more at your wonderful work but having to help/care for my wife is not easy and don’t get enough time to paint for myself but that’s life. Thank you.🥰

William I think it has a moody look that makes it look like fine rain or that misty wet we often get , neither rain nor mist . Don’t beat yourself up, your doing a difficult and demanding job as a carer, fitting in your painting as you can , often not getting enough time but still doing something and doing it well within the time constraints.

Actually William, the tones and mood describe the kind of days we’ve been having here lately……except for the summer trees that is. I like limited tonal range paintings, this is a smasher.

It’s a moody scene, maybe a little too moody but it still works… It could probably benefit from a bit more light in places, creating a focal point, but a good job nonetheless William.
