Nice trees that are well drawn , trees are on the top of my list for subjects.

Lovely, you paint trees so well

Your watercolour paintings are always very pleasing William

An absolute winner here William, those trees and the background are stunning! You will probably have heard that Alwyn Crawshaw passed away recently, I know you were a huge admirer of his work… sad news!

Lovely watercolour !

Thank you all for your comments and no I did not know about Alwyn, that’s really sad news and I’m truly gutted! To me he was one of the greats and owe him so much, a true legend in the art world now I’m so sad! What a blow to all who followed him and of course his wife and family.

I’m gutted also, he was an inspiration to me and he was such a good teacher… I’ve got many of his books and videos, along with an original pen & wash illustration which is published in one of his books. He had a good innings which we can all be grateful for.

Soft light, but strong painting: I don't know how I missed seeing it earlier: other than too much churn on the Gallery.... I read the comments on Alwyn Crawshaw, and I'm sure he'd have congratulated you on this one: I wonder if there's a painter on this website whom he didn't influence in one way or another.
