Lovely work!

Really atmospheric. Like it!

Lovely dream-like quality to this William and excellent use of the medium

A big thank you to all who have left comments it’s very uplifting for me. I am doing a bit more research into this church and found out that the tower is actually black and white, the sun was low and gave it a bit of warmth plus I took the photo from quite a distance so nothing was clear? Will do a couple more from different areas. Many thanks to all.🙏👍

Beautifully painted.

Lovely watercolour William…

A lovely watercolour with n ethereal quality William.

Thank you to everyone else who have left those wonderful comments I’m very humbled! 🙏👍

Wonderful composition, drawing and atmospheric painting. I read on a comment you wrote to Alan Bickley's ON THE WATER that you had given up oils slow doing and toxic fumes. I painted in oils for 20 years and about ten years ago discovered water-soluble oils. Same feeling, consistency as oils, but they dry fast and clean EASY. I am surprised they haven't become more popular. I love them.

Hi Lynne, thank you for your lovely comments I’m truly grateful and yes I have given water based oils a go but just did not get on with those either, perhaps it’s just me using watercolour for so long now I’ve kind of got stuck in the rut? I have bought some very slow drying acrylic paints but it’s the same thing with trying to keep the brushes from being ruined. I do have a very unusual commission to do in acrylic so will see how I get on with that? Many thanks.👍

Seen this so many times going to my youngest son’s house and always wanted to find a spot to take a quick photo to work on which we did on the way home on Saturday. The sun was quite low being early evening which gave some shadows, I did this quick effort but will do some more?
