A fine drawing Gudrun, I like the touches of blue. I recognised the man straight away, so a good likeness. I've seen him on Sky Arts programs recently. (Don't normally get Sky Arts, but Virgin have added it to my package for free...probably only for the covid duration.)

Thank you all for your appreciation! Stuart, I like to vary things now and again. I think I shall get some more of these pencil leads. I like them, although the 0.5mm snaps rather well!!

A good head,his eyes, lips even the dimple in his chin, the only thing I can't work out clearly is his nose.

Yesterday's effort for PAOTW of Noel Fielding. I had intended to use the Anders Zorn palette for a change, but my new micro mars pencil leads arrived so I decided pencil was the way to go this time! I enjoyed the discussions this week about likeness and capturing character.
