1/1 Monoprint

Comments

This is great, I like the texture that the brushed ink has given

I like the brush strokes in this, Gudrun. A lovely monotype.

Thank you all for your appreciation. This was slightly different from what I have been doing, but not too far away. I have more planned. We shall have to see how they work out. What I enjoy is that they are not replicable so if I printed it again it would be similar, but never the same. Each day means a different approach. Lovely!

I love your prints Gudrun, no matter how you proceed with them……always a winner.

I agree with Fiona, always impressed with the originality and integrity of your work Gudrun.

Thank you Fiona and Diane. Glad you like it 🙂. As I said more planned.

Well, I had a lovely time in the studio this morning, completing an idea in a monoprint. It would be easier if I used rollers to apply the ink, but then, for my taste, there would not be enough movement. However, using brushes does mean that I have to try a few times before I get what I want. It means that for purists there are always things that ought to be neater/better! 😊Archival, 1/1 monoprint on 35x50cm paper.
