Monoprint
Archival, 1/1 monoprint on 50x35cm paper. I think it was worth the effort spending hours on a linocut template to create this work. I am very happy with it. Unlike with usual linocuts, I prefer to apply the ink with a brush, not a roller, adding an element of chance to the end result, which I like. Also, I do not produce editions, ie copies, rather, I prefer to create slightly different versions if I decide to use the template again. My linocuts are unique works, like my monotype prints.🙂
