Well done Gudrun...a tortuous and tortured body reminds me of Schiele... quite an image. You raise a standard that has fallen badly over the months. The comments miss the point...

As a blatant distraction from the latest horrors in Europe I escaped to appreciate the exquisite ballet work that is The Metamorphosis based on Franz Kafka's work. It is superb in all ways. However, the pas de deux, as I shall call it, with Gregor and his mother is sublimely beautiful and would be difficult to draw in order to capture the wonderful acting and movement. I could probably use all the superlatives I know to talk about this work and the whole ensemble and it would not be exaggeration.
