Portrait - oil
30x40cm oil on linen canvas. The photograph does convey some of the warmth of colours, but not quite the more subtle depth created. Torrential rain clouds does nothing for light. It's awful. However, I am pleased at how my recycling of canvas has worked. Obviously the colours already there influenced subsequent choices. Still not convinced about the painting medium as I like to see brush strokes.
