Your use of colour certainly works in drawing the eye along the path and on into the gatehouse.

This is really good Gerry.

It's definitely working!

Looking good, nice work!

This works very well Gerry, the tonal strength of the castle is just right, the eye is definitely drawn to it. Delicate washes of colour very nice too.

I like this very much, such a fine pen and wash.

Lovely work Gerry.

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. Tis good to know the intentions have been achieved. Cheers.

This is superb Gerry and beautifully done.

A4 ink and wash. I'm currently focussing on a series where both ink and colour are used to accentuate the focus (and then to fade out), hopefully drawing the viewer in.
