I don't believe I have ever seen such richness of colour and wonderfully assured figurative paintings using water colour or any other medium for that matter, stunning gallery, are you a profesional because I would think your paintings would fly out of the gallery. : )

I agree with William, a fantastic selection of work. Having tried paintings of people in water I know how difficult it is.

Thank you William, Chris and Lesley for your kind words, i wish i had as much faith in my commercial success as you do! Because, despite being accepted and awarded by the RI, the RWA, EAWS, and the Cambridge drawing society, i still can't find a gallery who is prepared to exhibit my work, except for 1 or 2 very regional galleries in nearby villages. I find this somewhat perplexing not to mention discouraging, short of doing pornographic doodles like Tracy Emin, i am at a loss as to know what the formula is for selling work. Harrumph! Any Clues?

I certainly wouldn't recommend the 'unmade bed ' approach, stick with it, pester galleries in person if possible, they can't all be blind to your talent. good luck and merry christmas Gillian.

Your gallery came up on the side bar and I realised that you haven't posted any paintings lately Gillian, I hope that the reason is that some good galleries have realised what a gem of an artist you are and you are now a professional, I hope so and wish you all the very best.

Hi William, Thank you for your lovely comment, but no, i have not yet established myself in a gallery,although i haven't been trying. I will post images later on, as i write, i am in the middle of starting in a new direction with my painting, exploring colour theory, without figures. But i will have 2 paintings exhibited at the Royal watercolour society open, this spring, thanks again for your interest Gilly
