I couldn't choose between this and the second one. I can't see any mistakes, just a very pleasant study of apples. Really good.

Obviously, these are apples on a soft ground, but this picture is such a pleasure to look at simply for it's lovely looseness and beautiful colours. You can practically see the brush at work here, seemingly applied with speed and confidence.

Bored of the snow now so I decided to do still life today. The first apple one is okay , but I learnt from my mistakes and the 2nd one I'll post sings a bit more. So great to 'study' like this.
