Reminds me of a similar building that I drew of the Ancient High House near me… I said never again! Complicated or what! Brilliantly done here George, ridiculous amount of detail to cope with but you’ve cracked it!

Superb detail George and a well executed piece of art.

Many thanks Alan, Chris and Paul. It was a bit complicated Alan, but would have been even more so before the 2nd World War when there were 5 gables to cope with. It got bombed in a German blitz and 2 were destroyed.

Excellent watercolour George and those small figures are so well done. Very interesting painting.

Superb picture well detailed.

Top class work George. Great detailing on the buildings and it's always good to see people in a landscape.

Great details on the building George.

Takes me back. I used to work at 35 King Street. Not to mention going to the theatre there. Not to mention the years that I worked around the corner in the Grove and visits to the Jazz pub across the road. Good job! Rather you than me.

Thank you all for your comments. I probably saw you at the Old duke across the road Linda.

A fine building beautifully painted!

Many thanks Coral and Anne

Watercolour on W&N 300lb NOT paper, painted from an old painting (about 1983 I think) of mine. Depicting a quiet Sunday morning.
