A quite different palette but so effective. Love all the subtle colours suggesting the frost.

Thank You very much for commenting Jenny, The limited palette started as a wash of purple except for the grass banks which were green and raw umber (splodges). then a Sepia wash was laid over the purple of the tree, the water and the bridge and then (heaven forbid! ) a light wash of Ivory Black put on top of this, allowing under colours to show through before adding Chinese White.
