Lovely work George. Lynton and Lynmouth are amongst our favourite places as we spent part of our honeymoon in the area! A pleasant reminder.

Great mono work again George!

More great sketching George

Another good one!

Such a lovely place and you have achieved a great, loose, painterly scene, which is very appealing George.

Lovely work George and I really like the colour.

Like the sepia look George.

Thank you all very much, Kohle charcoals are interesting, this one one being Cherry Pit Black. We first stayed at Lynmouth not long after the Hotels had reopened after the big Flood, and stayed regularly until 2006 or there abouts, so we witnessed a lot of the renovation. We became good friends with a lot of the local people, gallery and shop owners and remained so, until they gradually all departed.

Love your liquid charcoal work, masterful

Thank you very much Romila and Sandra

I like the cherry pit colour George, looks great in your sketch.

Thank You very much Fiona, it certainly suits some subjects more than others and looks good in a collection of more normal colours. The materials they are made from surprises some some artists.

Lovely sketch George - love this style of painting.

Thank you very much Shaun

Very atmospheric, George. And an interesting choice of medium. I've used liquid pencil, which I like, can't help myself, I'll have to go and have a look at the charcoal.
