Lovely sketch, George.

Super sketching George. Interesting that you used an old fountain pen, I've done that a few times but never risked applying a wash...it's worked perfectly here.

Agree with Lewis, this is very appealing

Like this a lot George it’s really well drawn.

Thank you very much Shirley, Lewis, Heather and paul. An interesting thing, I use Parkers ink which when washed with water becomes blue / black and becomes blacker with age( this sketch was done in 1992) , and I also use Waterman ink which becomes a brown shade when washed with water.

What a super sketch George, there is always something refreshing and of the moment in a sketch.

Excellent

What a wonderful drawing George and so lovely to see it together with the painting.

Thank you very much Coral, Fiona, Richard and Diane. I used to like my sketches more than my paintings but can't get around to much to sketch these days.
