Love the spontaneous style of this lovely composition.

The sheep certainly draw my eye to the foreground tree. I like the way you have caught the misty background too. It's very pleasing to look at, Fran. Amazing how some of the best subjects are right outside, if we care to look.

Really like those luminous greens and the way you have painted the tree Fran.

Really like the impressionistic style

Lovely painting, you are so lucky have such scenes on your doorstep. The sheep are painting so well.

I really like the loose style, colours and those sheep are fab.

Just gorgeous Fran, I can’t choose a highlight of the painting it’s all superb.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Looking out the window with the rain and wind today, I was lucky to be able to paint mid-week while the weather was being kind.

A beautiful scene, calm and restful with a wonderful atmosphere.

A beautiful impressionistic style!

Love this, Fran. Nothing like getting out and witnessing beautiful things, eh? I love your varied marks and colour choices.

Lovely, fresh feel to this one Fran.

Thank you. All of your comments are really appreciated and welcomed.

I set up my easel in the orchard behind our house yesterday. There was a hazy mist lingering over the distant trees which immediately caught my eye and with the autumn sun shining there was a beautiful soft light. Having not painted for several months it was good to be back out there and the very friendly sheep settling under the apple tree made a wonderful addition to my subject. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable end to October 2019.
