Thanks Lewis, yes it stops the figure from floating. Thanks Carole, that was partly to do with the model. Thanks Paul, so did I at first, but perseverance usually pays off eventually 😊

I’ve tried a couple of life drawing sessions Frank and I found it so difficult. It must be the hardest discipline in art. It’s pretty good Frank, I do like the pose.

Thanks Fiona, yes it can be tricky, best to just get a few lines down as quick as you can and not worry too much about the end result. Emily has some fabulous poses on her Instagram page and actively encourages artists to paint from her photos.
